I&C Cleaners has been Jacksonville’s trusted, eco-friendly laundry and dry cleaning company since 1993. Our Story

Co-owners Imad and Christina Herfy were rookies in the dry cleaning business when they first got their start in 1993. They trained themselves in the concept and operation of a dry cleaning business by watching their friends in the industry. Imad and Christina started I&C Cleaners on their own and with no idea about dry cleaning, but have since become successful by running things their own way.

Imad is in charge of customer service and working the front of the house, while Christina works in the back, overseeing stain removal, dry cleaning, and wedding gown cleaning and preservation. One of Christina’s specialties involves the pristine cleaning of wedding gowns, christening gowns, and other formalwear, and then packaging them in a preservation box.

During their early days, Imad and Christina learned about the several different chemical suppliers and were taught how to utilize different cleaning agents for different types of removals. Christina became so deeply interested in the chemical suppliers that she did research on how to combine different products and agents, remove bad ingredients, and create her own spotting agent. Christina is now known as the genius of stain removal among our customers!

We are a family-owned and operated business that treats their customers like family. Our staff is service-oriented and courteous, and we offer fair, upfront pricing on all our services. Our products are top-of-the-line, and all laundry and dry cleaning services are done in-house.
